Wedding invitations are a perfect way to share your excitement about your upcoming wedding with your guests. Whether you make the invitations yourself or you order them, you have different options to prepare, pack and send the invitations to your guest list.

Consider the following wedding invitations checklist before deciding how you want to announce your big day.

• Set budget
• Order / self-made
• Include date / time / location / rsvp date
• Consider including: directions to place, menu/hotel options, registry link
• Include names of bride & groom
• Include names of parents (if desired)
• Include rsvp envelop or rsvp email / telephone number
• Invite guest contributions to program
• Bride and/or groom plan surprises / pranks
• Include options for between ceremony and reception (if enough time in between)
