Wedding Transport Checklist
If you plan to celebrate your wedding somewhere far away from the accommodation facilities you are probably considering to organize the transportation for your guests. Furthermore, if many guests are comming from abroad they will need some kind of transportation during the time they are there.
In this checklist you will find some of the possibilities which you may take into account when organizing the transportation for your wedding day.
- Set budget
- Determine number of guests
- Arrange transport for guests arriving from abroad (airport to venue / hotel)
- Decide what kind of transport you want your guests to use: bus, hired cars…
- Provide maps if guests are going to drive (own cars or hired ones)
- Make sure to exchange cellphone numers in case the guests get lost driving
- Check if bus drivers are included in dinner cost
- Arrange enough parking places at the wedding venue (if guests come with cars)
- Determine number of parking valets needed
- Decoration for the newly-wed car (limousine / antic car / own car / borrowed car)
- Organize your transport to the airport and back for the honeymoon
Tip #1: Ask the rent-a-car for a special offer if you are hiring a decent amount of cars. Check if it’s going to be cheaper to rent 7 or 9-seater vans, normal cars or buses.
